My name is Bankè but some call me Bankie, most call me Banks. I started my journey in visuals arts in 2018 as a model and an intern for a wedding decor designer. In my time modeling I was blessed enough to work with some of the best up and coming visual artists Texas has to offer. This led me to be featured on Vogue Italia twice and published in Mob Journal twice. I quickly discovered through all these experiences and connections that my true passion was in production and branding which led me to found Mayòwa Visuals.

Under Mayówa Visuals, I conceptualized and directed my debut project, Project C.D., an ambitious exhibition featuring eight music inspired photoshoots all brought to life with the help of eight talented teams, and one ultra talented co-director (Read More). The event went on to sell out over 100 tickets as well as our limited edition t-shirts. Through the years Project C.D. has went on to be known as a staple within the budding creative scene of Houston. This accomplishment was a defining moment in my career, solidifying my passion for people, marketing, and production.

In addition to Project C.D. and freelancing under Mayòwa Visuals, I've served as Creative Director, Social Media Strategist, Consultant and/or Web Designer for various small businesses in Texas— contributing to campaigns, events, photo + video productions, fashion shows and business development. I am proud to say that I’ve contributed to over 70 projects within my community, whether through consulting, management, or assisting.

In short, I’m a passionate and ever learning creative with a strong foundation in production, design, and strategy. I’m excited to bring my skills, knowledge, and collaborative spirit to help organizations thrive and make an impact in today’s ever-evolving creative world.
